Comilla in -9 (Laksam-Manoharganj) constituency, Islamic Front Bangladesh nominated candidate Mir Md Bakar Siddique has submitted nomination papers. On Thursday (November 30), assistant returning officer and upazila executive officer Md. Abdul Hai submitted nomination papers to Siddiqui.

After submitting the nomination papers, the candidate (Chair) of the Islamic Front, Mir Md. Abu Bakar Siddique, said, “If the election is held in a fair and peaceful manner, we are hopeful of winning the chair.” We are very popular in Laksam and Manoharganj area. Common people want change. And if I am elected, I will make this region a peaceful and developed region in the spirit of liberation war and Islamic ideology, Inshallah.
