The chief adviser of the interim government. Mansoor Chavushi, Iran’s ambassador to Bangladesh, paid a courtesy call on Muhammad Yunus.
The meeting was held on Sunday (September 22) at the office of the Chief Adviser in Tejgaon.
According to the Press Wing of the Chief Adviser, various bilateral issues of mutual interest were discussed in the meeting.
The Iranian ambassador expressed the interest of the Iranian government in supporting and cooperating with the interim government.
He expressed Iran’s interest in promoting bilateral relations, especially in economic fields including trade, culture, energy, education and health.
The Chief Adviser welcomed Iran’s interest and thanked Iran for supporting Bangladesh on the Rohingya issue at the global forum.
