 International Nurses Day was celebrated in Barura, Comilla with the theme “our nurses our future”. On the occasion of 12 May Day, a colorful rally was organized at Barura Upazila Health Complex. A discussion meeting was held on the occasion of International Nurses Day and Midwife Day at the auditorium of Rally Barura Upazila Health Complex. At the beginning of the discussion, a cake was cut on the occasion of International Nurses and International Midwives Day. The cake was cut by Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Kamrul Hasan Sohel. All doctors, nurses and midwives were present at this time. Dr. Kamrul Hasan Sohel, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, Dr. Nuren Taskin Tuli, Resident Medical Officer, Dr. Khadijatul Kobra, Dr. Tanjim Majumdar, Dr. Bhaskar Kishore Mahalanbish, Dr. Nirjhar Bhowmik, Dr. Sheikh Ashfiqur Rahman, Dr. Enamul Haque Saqib, Dr. Md. Raisul Hasan, Dr. Md. Taifur Rahman, Dr. Md. Faisal Ahmed, Nursing Incharge SSN Majeda Begum presided over the event. The program was conducted by SSN Mukta Roy and SSN Imamul Hasan Arif. SSN Rabiul Hossain recited from the Holy Quran at the beginning of the discussion meeting.
