International Customs Day celebrated at Banglabandha Land Port in Panchagarh

International Customs Day was celebrated at Tetulia Banglabandha Land Port in Panchagarh with the theme ‘Commitment in Customs Service, Efficiency, Safety, Progress’.
On this occasion, greetings and sweets were exchanged between Banglabandha Customs of Bangladesh and Phulbari Customs of India at Banglabandha Zero Line on Sunday morning (January 26). Assistant Commissioner of Phulbari Customs T.O. Sharpa and Customs Superintendent Gopal Krishna Das were present during the greetings and sweets exchange.
After the greetings and exchange of sweets, a discussion meeting was held in the conference room of the land port, organized by the land port customs station.
The meeting was chaired by Assistant Commissioner of Banglabandha Land Customs Station Md. Isahak and was attended as the chief guest by President of Panchagarh Chamber of Commerce and Industry Alhaj Md. Sharif Hossain.
Also present were Revenue Officer Shawkat Ali of the Land Port Customs Station, Revenue Officer Tuhin Chowdhury, Assistant Revenue Officer Moinul Hasan, Assistant Revenue Officer Subrata Singha, Assistant Revenue Officer Nurul Amin. Banglabandha Land Port Limited Manager Abul Kalam Azad, Director of Panchagarh Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shahadat Hossain Ranju, Sohel Rana Manik Pradhan, President of C&F Agents Association Ibne Safi Nasinul Hasan, General Secretary of C&F Agents Association Jahangir Alam, Treasurer of Land Port Import Export Group Mozaffar Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Immigration SI Firoz Kabir, journalists from print and electronic media, and various officials and businessmen of the port were present.
