A terrible fire broke out in Jangalia (Shaktala) village of Kalirbazar Union in Comilla Adarsh ​​Sadar Upazila on Saturday, April 12, at around 4 pm due to an electrical short circuit. The houses of Montaz Mia’s sons Abu Yusuf and Ershad were completely burnt down. It is reported that the fire caused a loss of about 1 million taka.
Within a week, on Saturday, April 19, Insaf Housing and Developers Pvt. Ltd. extended its humanitarian assistance. In the presence of the company’s Chairman Professor AKM Emdadul Haque Mamun, MD Professor Akhter Hossain, and Executive Director Professor Maulana Mujibur Rahman Sarkar, the affected family was provided with assistance of about 43,000 taka, including five tin cans and related goods.
Also present at the time were Jamaat-e-Islami No. 1 Kalir Bazar Union Secretary Master Ruhul Amin, Tamirul Ummah Madrasa (Fenua Branch) In-charge Maulana Shihab Uddin, local Jamaat leaders Karim Kazi, Abdul Hafiz and many other local dignitaries.
Local people and leaders welcomed this humanitarian initiative and thanked Insaf Housing and Developers Pvt. Ltd. for standing by the affected family.
