Tawhid Hossain Sarkar:Â On Friday March 20, an Iftar Mahfil and Doa Mahfil was organized at the Capsicum Party Center in Comilla by the “Inquilab Mancha” Comilla district in memory of the martyrs and injured of the July Revolution. The program was presided over by Golam Muhammad Samdani, convener of Inquilab Mancha Comilla, and moderated by Member Secretary Abdullah Al Mahmud Bhuiyan. Dr. Mujibur Rahman, Live Governor of the international volunteer organization Apex Bangladesh and Chairman of Gomti Hospital, was present as the chief guest at the program. Mia Mohammad Toufiq, member of the Comilla Chamber of Commerce, and Mubarak Hossain, editor of Gomti Sangbad, were present as special guests. In memory of the July Revolution Chief guest Dr. In his speech, Mujibur Rahman recalled the heroism of the martyrs of the July 24 Revolution. He spoke about the importance of presenting the history of the beginning of a dictatorship-free Bangladesh through the sacrifice of the martyrs to the new generation. He said, “In exchange for the sacrifice of the martyrs, we can see the light of democracy today. Their bravery is a unique example for the nation.” He also said that the relentless efforts of the Inqilab Manch to preserve these memories are highly commendable. He prayed to the Almighty God with a heartfelt prayer for the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs. Commendable initiative of the Inqilab Manch Other speakers at the event also discussed various aspects of the July Revolution and praised the constructive role of the Inqilab Manch. They said, “Inqilab Manch is working for justice and humanity in society, in addition to highlighting the truth of history.” At the end of the program, a prayer and iftar mahfil was held, where special prayers were offered for the martyrs and injured of the revolution. In conclusion, it can be said that This event was not just a formality, but rather an initiative to remember history and pay tribute to the martyrs. The organizers expressed hope that such initiatives of the Inqilab Mancha will continue in the future as well.
