BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has commented that India is conspiring to bring ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to power through various strategies. He said, the Indian media is spreading propaganda about an independent country only for Sheikh Hasina. I will tell India that if it has so much affection for Sheikh Hasina, then it should build another Taj Mahal for her in India. India is saddened by Sheikh Hasina’s escape. We understand that India has suffered a lot for Sheikh Hasina. India is conspiring to bring Sheikh Hasina back to power.
Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the 4th day of the Shaheed Zia Memorial Football Tournament at the Shaheed Abul Kashem College Ground in Lalmonirhat on Sunday, November 17 at 4 pm.
He said, there are many conspiracies going on. We have to be careful. A fair election is needed soon to bring back democracy in the country. BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia was and is in the country after accepting the prison oppression. And Sheikh Hasina has fled to India, leaving behind her leaders and activists. This is the difference between Sheikh Hasina and Khaleda Zia.
Rizvi said, for the past 16 years, the Awami League has robbed the people of their democracy without a vote and given their own people the opportunity to loot. An IG of the police owns a house worth thousands of crores of taka and a minister has a house worth 250 million pounds outside the country. The Awami League mayor appointed his daughter as a hit officer. Later, I saw that the hit officer’s husband had even more hits.
The BNP senior joint secretary general said, Sheikh Hasina has killed thousands of people to stay in power, tortured the opposition. Sheikh Hasina has run the country as she wants and looted banks.
He said, Sheikh Hasina is bloodthirsty, now she is carrying out terrorist activities by ordering Awami League leaders and activists from her fugitive position in India. Therefore, we must be vigilant so that fascism does not come to power again. Only then will the sacrifices of the students and the masses be worthwhile.
