Shubman Gill and Lokesh Rahul were at the crease when India announced their innings. Gill scored 119 runs and Rahul was playing with 22 runs.
Today on Saturday, India started the third day’s play with 81 runs for 3 wickets. Rishabh Pant, the unbeaten batsman on the previous day, became aggressive as the day progressed, though the runs were a bit slow in the beginning. The right-arm Tiger spinner took a hand-caught catch to Rishabh Pant, who scored a century. The Indian wicketkeeper batsman scored 109 runs off 128 balls. Pant hits 3 sixes with 13 fours.
Earlier, India scored 376 runs in the first innings. In reply, Bangladesh were all out for just 149 runs. India had the opportunity to follow up on Bangladesh but did not do so. They came down to bat in the second innings themselves.
