Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman National Gold Cup Football Tournament Boys (Under-17) 2023 was held in Paba Upazila of Rajshahi. Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Wazed Ali Khan, Upazila Education Officer Rafiqul Islam, Upazila Youth Development Officer MMN Zahurul Islam, Paba Thana Officer In-charge Mubarak Parvez, Nohata Government High School Principal Omar Ali, Nohata Municipality Panel Mayor-1 Azizul Haque and Panel Mayor-2 Didar Hossain Bhulu, Deputy Assistant Jute Development Officer Golam Mostafa, Paba Upazila Scout Representative Golam Murtaza Badsha, Huzuripara UP Chairman Golam Mostafa, Parila UP Chairman Syed Ali Morshed, Baragachi UP Chairman Shahadat Hossain Sagar and Harian UP Representative. Under the direction of Sohag Rahman, General Secretary of Paba Upazila Sports Association, referees were Aminul Islam, Mahabubur Rahman Bachchu, Milon Mahmud, Waz Nabi and Shahijul Islam and Isharul Islam were commentators. Ten teams of Paba Upazila will participate in the game. In the opening match, due to a draw in the 1st game, Parila Union Parishad team won by Tribeker defeating Huzuripara Union Parishad team by 5-3 goals and in the 2nd game Baragachi Union Parishad team won by defeating Harian Union Parishad team by 1-0 goals. Katakhali Municipal Team vs. Nowhata Municipal Team will participate in the 1st game tomorrow at 4 PM and Darshanpara Union Parishad Team vs. Haripur Union Parishad Team will participate in the 2nd game at 5 PM.
