 National Vitamin ‘A’ Plus Campaign has been inaugurated in Dinajpur Municipality like all over the country. 12 December-2023 On the occasion of National Vitamin A Plus Campaign organized by Dinajpur Municipality, Dinajpur Municipality Mayor (Acting) Md. Abu Taib Ali Dulal inaugurated the program by giving vitamin capsules to a child in Dinajpur Municipality premises on Tuesday morning. Municipal Chief Executive Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Executive Engineer Md. Minarul Islam Khan and other officials of the Municipal Health Department were present at this time.
The number of children aged 6 to 11 months according to the national vitamin ‘A’ plus campaign in Dinajpur municipality – the number of children 2915 (blue capsule), the number of children aged 12 to 59 months 19576 (red capsule). Total number of centers in 12 wards-128, 8 night centers in 8 wards. Ward No. 1 – Lalbagh Club, Ward No. 3 – Dinajpur Municipality, Ward No. 4 – Mirzapur Bus Terminal, Ward No. 6 – In front of Fakirpara Mosque, Ward No. 8 – Sadar Hospital, Ward No. 9 – Phulabari Bus Stand, Ward No. 11 – Dinajpur Railway Station, Ward No. 12 – Kasba Ramakrishna Ashram. All these centers run from 4 pm to 8 pm. On the other hand, on the same day morning on the occasion of National Vitamin ‘A’ Plus Campaign, under the overall supervision of Dinajpur Municipality, the program was inaugurated by giving a vitamin capsule to a child at the Ramnagar Development Club premises of the city. Harunur Rashid Raihan, former vice-president of District Chhatra League and others were present at this time.
