Inauguration of “I Love Brahmanbaria”

 A plaque named ‘I Love Brahmanbaria’ was inaugurated. It has been constructed at Faruqi Park in the municipal area by the initiative of a Facebook-based voluntary social organization in Brahmanbaria. This plaque, built with the monthly subscription of the members of the organization, has attracted the attention of visitors to the park. With the help of Brahmanbaria district administration, about five lakh rupees have been spent on its construction.

The plaque was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Md. Shahgir Alam. Superintendent of Police Mohammad Shakhawat Hossain, Chairman of Brahmanbaria Medical College Hospital Dr. were present among others. Md. Abu Saeed, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Ziaul Haque Mir, General Secretary of Brahmanbaria Press Club. Baharul Islam Mollah, Principal of Suryamukhi Kindergarten Salma Bari, Kasbar Syedabad Adarsh University Lecturer SRM Osman Gani, Daily Prothom Alo’s own reporter Shahadat Hossain. The program was conducted by Mishuk Mahmud. Rejuan Roni, a member of the organization, gave a welcome speech. According to the sources of the organization, the construction of the plaque started on June 9 this year. Members of the organization Anas Hasan, Mishuk Mahmud, Pulak Das, Alamin Rakin, Kajal Saha, Rejuan Roni and Iftikhar Shaon have worked on its construction under the overall supervision of ‘Amrai Brahmanbaria’ founder Bivardhan Roy. It took about an hour and a half to complete its construction. Vivardhan Roy, the founder of the organization said, ‘This initiative is an expression of our love and duty towards the district. It is our hope that the name and reputation of Brahmanbaria will spread throughout the country. Thanks to the district administration for its overall support in its construction.

District Commissioner Md. Shahgir Alam mentioned in his speech that through this exceptional work, I believe that the love of the district will increase among the people of the district. Arrangements will be made to make it visible at night.
