Discussion meeting to mark the inauguration of Cumilla Ideal College’s Annual Sports and Cultural Week was held at the College Auditorium.
Under the chairmanship of college founder principal Mohiuddin Liton, the head teacher of Government Laboratory High School Roksana Ferdous Majumdar, Rotary ex-governor educationist Dilnashin Mohsen, President of Cumilla Ideal College Shah Md. Alamgir Khan.
Speakers at the event said that culture should be practiced along with regular studies. The latent talents hidden in the students are developed through cultural practices. To be successful, you need to do the right thing at the right time by making the right plan.
Golam Mostafa, Assistant Professor of Physics Department, spoke at the discussion under the direction of Mohammad Imran Hossain, Senior Lecturer of English Department. At the beginning of the program, recitation from the Holy Qur’an, reading of the Gita and the singing of the national anthem by the assembled voice gave a welcome speech – the convenor of the program and assistant professor of the Department of Accountancy Md. Imtiaz Majumder.
Assistant Professor of Islamic History and Culture Department was present at the time. Adnan Chatter Majumder, member secretary of the program and lecturer of social work department Naima Akhtar, lecturer Hasan Bhuiyan, Nazmul Hossain Khan, Javed Hossain, Fahima Akhtar, Nishat Mahmud, Mithun Majumder, Abdullah Al Mamun, Sharmin Akhtar, Nahin Akhtar, Ananya Banerjee and all the students of the college.
