Organized by Urban Youth Society and in collaboration with District Youth Development Department, 07-day catering (cooking) course under revenue sector was inaugurated in 2024-25 financial year.
13th November (Wednesday) to organize the opening ceremony at the Urban Youth Society office in Doctor neighborhood of the city.
Under the chairmanship of Feni Sadar Upazila Youth Development Officer Sheikh Muhammad Hilaluddin and upazila Assistant Officer Mohammad Omar Farooq, Deputy Director of Youth Development Feni Saifuddin Md Hasan Ali spoke as the chief guest. At this time, he said, there is interest among the women of Feni, currently women are moving forward along with men. If women can be involved at every stage in the new state reform, then the country will be easy to build. He also said that the Department of Youth Development is working for the empowerment of women. They will be involved more quickly under various courses, including institutional-non-institutional loans. Besides, he also gave several suggestions to maintain the reputation of the work of the training institute Urban Youth Society.
President of Journalist Union Feni Siddiq Al Mamun, Assistant Director of Youth Development Feni Ahmed Kabir Majumdar and Saif Uddin Ahmed, Chairman of Urban Youth Society Liaqat Ali Arman, Treasurer of Journalist Union Feni Jasim Uddin Farayezi and District Student Coordinator Muhaimin were also present as special guests in the opening ceremony. 30 energetic women from different parts of the district will be trained in this course covering FY 24-25.
