On the occasion of the month of Ramadan, Yara Group has distributed Iftar and Eid items among 200 unemployed and destitute families in Laksam.
On Wednesday afternoon, Monir Uddin Patwari, Managing Director of Yara Group, a child of Aushpara village, Mudafarganj North Union of the upazila, distributed Iftar and Eid items at his home on a family initiative.
Each family was given about 15 kg of Iftar and Eid items. The Iftar items include pulses, oil, dates, onions, potatoes, muri and chickpeas.
Md. Emran Hossain Patwari, Manik Hossain Patwari, Badiul Alam Patwari, Master Emran Hossain, among others, were present.
Emran Hossain Patwari said that every year on the occasion of the holy Ramadan, the poor people of the village are supported by providing Iftar materials to the families. In continuation of this, Iftar materials have been distributed this time too. Such initiatives are taken so that the poor families of the village can have Iftar and Eid in peace after fasting all day. And the Managing Director of Yara Group, my respected elder brother Monir Uddin, helped in providing these materials.
