November 27, 2024, Dhaka: The 1220th sub-branch of IFIC Bank has been inaugurated in Charkhai, Beanibazar Upazila, Sylhet. The sub-branch was inaugurated yesterday, November 26, 2024, at Al Madina Shopping Complex, Charkhai. The program was presided over by IFIC Bank’s Sylhet Branch Manager, MA Qayyum Chowdhury, and the prominent social worker, Mr. Ohid Ahmed Talukder. Also present at the time were Mr. Md. Mofiqur Rahman, President of Charkhai Bazar Committee, Mr. Fakhrul Islam, Acting Chairman of Shayola Union, along with local businessmen, dignitaries and local journalists. The country’s largest bank, IFIC, has set an example by opening 1,408 branches and sub-branches across the country with the inauguration of its Beanibazar sub-branch.
