Devotees of the Sanatan Hindu community took out a human chain protest in Brahmanbaria to protest against the lease of the land occupied by Shree Sri Kaivalyabhum Ashram in East Paikpara of Brahmanbaria city. This human chain was held in front of Brahmanbaria Press Club after the protest march today at 11:30 am on Saturday. Thousands of men and women participated in it. The agitating people of Sanatan Hindu community, who participated in the human chain and protest march, claimed that Phulurani Roy, a resident of Shri Kaibalyabhoom Ashram and Ram Tagore Temple, was living on lease of the property assigned by the District Commissioner. Later Phulu Rani gave her leased land to the temple as the site of the temple was not available. Later, the temple authority applied to the District Commissioner according to the legal rules to take the place of Phulu Rani in the name of the temple. But the District Commissioner ignored the request of the temple authorities on February 7 of the temple The occupied space was re-leased to the neighbor Anil Mallick. Since then, thousands of men and women of Sanatan Dharma have become angry. They held area-based meetings. Later this morning, they organized a protest procession and human chain in Brahmanbaria town to return the site of the temple to the temple. Sujan Datta, National Member of Puja Udyapan Parishad, who participated in the Human Bandhan, said that Phulu Rani Mallik, the owner of the 4th century land of Sri Kaibalyabhoom Ashram in East Paikpara of Brahmanbaria city, donated the land to the temple and the land was occupied by the temple. This place was leased by Brahmanbaria District Commissioner to a person without considering the temple and public interest. We want the lease to be canceled and the temple site returned to the temple. Another devotee named Gauri Rani Roy said, “We need the adjacent place as our temple space is not contiguous.” We will protest until we get this place will go We have to give back our place at any cost. Shilpi Banik, another devotee, said that the place which was in the name of the temple has been leased by a nearby man. We want our temple site back.
