Human chain in protest against torture and attacks on journalists

Banglavision TV representative Zahirul Islam Miron in Patuakhali Kuakata announced a tough program demanding justice through the speedy arrest of terrorist attackers identified on mainstream journalists in different areas of the country, at eleven o’clock on Friday, February 7, an hour-long human chain and protest program was held in front of Muktijoddha Complex with the participation of working journalists and civil society of Galachipa Upazila.
Meanwhile, the journalist leaders said that Zahirul Islam Miron, the former general secretary of Patuakhali Kuakata Press Club and Banglavision TV representative Zahirul Islam Miron, was hacked to death on Tuesday (February 4) by miscreants and left in front of his house in a dangerous condition. In addition, the terrorists targeted the journalists working in Rajshahi, Khulna, Chittagong and Barisal in the premises of Dhaka Supreme Court. Strongly protested and condemned the incident. Journalist leaders said that journalists are still carrying out their professional responsibilities by risking their lives because of the safety of their lives. Therefore, he demanded the current government’s information adviser and law enforcement to arrest the identified terrorists and bring them under the law within the next 48 hours. Otherwise, the media leaders of the country warned that a more difficult program will be adopted by the unity of all the media in the country.
