On Sunday (January 9), at 11 am, the District Jubo Dal, Volunteer Dal, Public Rights Council, coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and journalists from various upazila branches of the Television Journalist Forum expressed solidarity in an hour-long human chain at the premises of the District Commissioner’s office. The program, chaired by District Television Journalist Forum Patuakhali President Kajal Baran Das and moderated by General Secretary Mujahidul Islam Prince, was addressed by District Jubo Dal President Monirul Islam Liton, District Volunteer Party President Mashiur Rahman Milon, Member Secretary of the Patuakhali District Branch of the Public Rights Council Md. It is worth noting that Miron arrived in front of the Kuakata filling station from Dhaka at around 12:30 am last Tuesday. Later, when he got out of the car and left for home, the miscreants randomly hacked him to death and left him. He is currently undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.
