At this time, the teachers and officials demanded the appointment of vice chancellors from among their own teachers, keeping the slogan “We will stop corruption through reforms, we will build our campus”. At this time, University Registrar Senior Professor Dr. Hemayet Jahan, Proctor Professor Abul Bashar Khan, Dean of Law and Land Administration Department Professor Md. At this time, the speakers said, “We have enough qualified and experienced teachers in this university, we want to appoint them as vice chancellor, treasurer, otherwise if vice chancellor is appointed from outside, it takes a year to understand the university’s activities.
The dynamics of the university is destroyed, we do not want anyone from outside to come as the vice chancellor of this university, we will not accept it from anyone in the university” the speakers also said that, except for the teachers who are friends of the fascist government, anti-discrimination student movement and benefited teachers during different governments.
