International Human Rights Day human chain was held for the relatives of activists and citizens who were victims of human rights violations. This human chain was held in Dinajpur under the initiative of Nationalist Nationalist Lawyers Forum Dinajpur District Unit and organized by Dinajpur District BNP.
Advocate Abdul Halim, President of Nationalist Lawyers Forum Dinajpur District Unit, presided over the human chain held at the premises of Dinajpur District Lawyers Association at 11 am on Sunday (December 10-2023). The BNP leaders and activists who were arrested during the human chain were demanded to be released immediately.
The general secretary of the Nationalist Lawyers Forum District Unit was present in the human chain. Mahfuzur Rahman Khan Bipul, Vice President Adv. Mostafizur Rahman Mostak, Khairat Ali, Ed. Imam Ali, Joint Editor Ed. Anwarul Azim Sarkar Khokon, Office Secretary Add. Ainul Haque, Vice President of Dinajpur District BNP. Naushad Ali, president of the district freedom fighters. Mokched Ali Mangalia, Dinajpur District BNP President Adv. Mefazzal Hossain Dulal’s wife Mosha Reena Yasmin, Kaharol Upazila Mahila Dal President Shamima Parveen, Nawabganj Upazila Mahila Dal President Shabana Begum, Lawyer Forum District Unit Member Md. Riazul Islam, Md. Fakhruddin Ali Ashraf Ranju, Md. Rashedul Islam Manik, district Krishakdal leader. Belal Hossain along with other members of Lawyers Forum, leaders and activists of different levels of BNP affiliated organizations and relatives of BNP leaders and activists who were arrested in Dinajpur were present.
