Pirojpur Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Operations) Md. Mukit Hasan Khan led by Sadar Thana Police and DB in a special operation recovered 105 bottles of Phincidil from a house called Nachima Manzil on Machimpur Balaka Club Road in the city. Businessman Md Ramzan Shikder alias Fancy Ramzan escaped. He has been doing drug business for a long time by renting houses in different areas of Pirojpur city and concealing his name and identity. He has several drug cases and other cases against him in Sadar police station.
In a press briefing at Pirojpur Sadar Police Station after the rescue operation, the Additional Superintendent of Police Crime and Operations said that at 11:00 on Wednesday, Phencidil was recovered in a joint operation of Pirojpur Sadar Police Station and DB Police on the basis of secret information.
In this regard, a regular drug case is under process at Pirojpur Sadar Police Station. He said that such special operations against drugs and terrorism will continue in Pirojpur district.
