This year’s HSC and equivalent exam results have been declared. This year the average pass rate in 11 education boards of the country is 78.64 percent.
Last year mean 2022 HSC and equivalent exam average pass rate was 85.95 percent. Accordingly, the pass rate has decreased by 7.31 percent.
On Sunday (November 26) at 11 o’clock, the results were published on the website and self-educational institutions.
The results showed that a total of 10 lakh 67 thousand 852 candidates have passed the examination in all the education boards. Only 9 general education boards pass rate in HSC exam is 75.9 percent.
Among the 9 general boards, the pass rate is 79.44 percent in Dhaka Board, 78.46 percent in Rajshahi Board, 74.45 percent in Chittagong Board, 75.39 percent in Comilla Board, 80.65 percent in Barisal Board, 73.7 percent in Sylhet Board, Mymensingh. 70.44 percent of the board, 70.44 percent of Dinajpur board and 69.88 percent pass rate of Jessore board.
Earlier in the morning, Minister of Education handed over the summary of results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Dipu Moni, Education Deputy Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Naufel and Board Chairmen.

On August 17, the HSC examination began in eight general education boards of the country. The Chittagong, Madrasa and Bangladesh Technical Education Board examinations, which were delayed due to natural calamities, began on August 27.
This year, 13 lakh 59 thousand 342 candidates filled the form to participate in the examination under 11 boards including 9 general, madrasa and technical education boards. Among them, 6 lakh 88 thousand 887 students and 6 lakh 70 thousand 455 female students.
Meanwhile, this time full marks question papers and full time HSC and equivalent exams were held. However, in the face of the demand of the students, instead of 100 marks, the test of 75 marks was taken in ICT subject.
