International Desk: Houthi rebels launch drone attack on Israel again. In a statement, the Israeli army said it had repelled a drone attack. On the other hand, a Jordanian military source said another drone had crashed there. The Iran-backed Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for the attacks. AFP reports.

The Israeli military said in a statement that the IAF (Israeli Air Force) had intercepted a UAV (drone) that had come from the east into Israeli territory. However, no details were given.

The Houthi rebels have been carrying out drone and missile attacks on Israel since the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza began in October 2023. However, most of the attacks have been intercepted before they enter Israeli airspace.

The Houthi rebels have been carrying out these attacks in solidarity with the Palestinians. Their official website said they launched two drones targeting two Israeli military targets in the occupied Jaffa area south of Tel Aviv.

The Houthis, in a statement, assured the oppressed Palestinian people that they are committed to their pledge of support and assistance. They will not back down and the fight will not stop.

In addition to the Houthis, another pro-Iranian group, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, has also claimed responsibility for several attacks targeting Israel since the start of the Gaza war.
