Hossain Youth Foundation stands by families affected by fire in Goalando

Hossain Youth Foundation has extended a helping hand to the families affected by the fire in Shahadat Member Para, Ferry Ghat area, Daulatdia No. 4, Goalanda Upazila, Rajbari.
Hossain, founder of Hossain Youth Foundation, visited the house of the martyr who was burnt down in the fire on Monday (December 6) afternoon and handed over cash to the martyr. Also present at the time were former retired Air Force officer Md. Sirajul Islam, prominent businessman Shamsul Haque and others.
It is worth noting that on Friday, December 27, a fire broke out in the kitchen of Shahid’s house, which gutted two houses and a cow, and severely damaged two cows. When the locals failed to put out the fire, they informed the fire service office, and later, Goalanda Fire Service and Civil Defense personnel managed to bring the fire under control after an hour of effort.
Locals and fire service station team leader Basher Ali said the family suffered a loss of around 1.4 to 1.5 million taka due to the burning of their house and livestock.
Hossain, founder of the Hossain Youth Foundation, said, “The family lost all their resources in the fire and are now on the streets. I have tried to stand by the helpless family to the best of my ability. I think all the wealthy people in the society should stand by the helpless family.”
