Adviser on Home Affairs Lieutenant General Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (retd) has expressed deep grief over the death of Lt. Tanzim Charwar Nirjan, an army officer who was seriously injured while on duty at Chakria, Cox’s Bazar.

In a condolence message today, the adviser prayed for the repose of the departed soul and extended his deepest condolences to his bereaved family members.

It is to be noted that Lieutenant Tanzim Charwar Nirjan (23), who was seriously injured by a bandit member during an operation by joint forces at Chakaria police station in Cox’s Bazar district, breathed his last at Chakria Christian Missionary (Memorial) Hospital at around 4:50 am today (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun). . He is survived by many well-wishers including his mother, father and a sister.
