Hifzul Quran competition was organized by Herpeti Late Abbas Ali Mia Smriti Foundation at Barura, Comilla.
General Secretary of Barura Upazila BNP Syed Zahirul Haque Swapan was present as the chief guest at the event organized at Herpeti Emraniya Hafizia Madrasa premises under the chairmanship of Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Hossain, Associate Professor of Noakhali Medical College Hospital, the founder of Herpeti late Md. Abbas Ali Mia Smriti Foundation of Adra Union of Barura Upazila on Saturday, November 16. . Assistant Professor of Jhlam High School and College and Journalist Mohammad Masud Majumdar of Daily Jai Jai Din, Barura Upazila Correspondent, Perpeti village social worker Md Iqbal Hossain Patwari were present as special guests.
Barura upazila representative journalist Sujan Majumdar of Daily Desh Panwar newspaper, journalist Md Sharif Uddin, top reporter of Daily Samajkantha newspaper, teachers of various madrasas and students who participated in the competition were present at this time.
On this day, 250 Hafiz Hifzul from 29 Hafiziya Madrasahs and Orphanages participated in the Quran competition. Among the participating students in various categories, 15 Hafez were awarded a best institute with certificate, memento and cash.
