The Rawalpindi Test between Bangladesh and Pakistan has finally started after the rain. Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto won the toss. He decided to field first as the pitch was wet.
Bangladesh’s pacers have started well by proving Shanta’s decision right. Tiger pacer Hasan Mahmud was hit in the fourth over of the innings. Abdullah Shafiq took a great catch of Zakir Hasan in Ghali for only 2 runs. Pakistan lost the first wicket by 3 runs.
As of writing this report, after 5 overs, Pakistan’s collection is 3 runs for 1 wicket. Shan Masood and Saim Ayyub could not open the account of runs.
There will be 48 overs on the first day of the Rawalpindi Test today, Wednesday. Due to rain, the toss could not take place before lunch. Due to which overs have been reduced. However, the playing time was extended by half an hour towards the end of the day.
