While asking for money owed to Dumki in Patuakhali The fish seller who was assaulted was accused of harassment in a false case against the school teacher. According to local sources, Abul Kha (45), a professional hilsa fisherman and fish seller, son of A: Gani Khar of North Pangasiya village, received the previous due fish money from Saidul Master, an assistant teacher of North Pangasiya Government Primary School No. 44, a neighbor. On the day and time of the incident, when he went to the school compound to collect the outstanding dues, the principal of that school, Lal Chand Howlader, got into an argument with him (Abul Kha) due to previous enmity, and at one point, the headmaster Lal Chand Howlader and his companion Meghnath Howladar, together with Abul Kha, got into an argument. Physically beaten and bribed. Abul Kha, a fish seller who was assaulted in the incident, filed a written complaint against the accused Lal Chad Master and his brother Meghnath Howladar at the Dumki police station, demanding justice. On the other hand, to hide the real incident, the minority school teacher Lal Chand has counter-charged against Abul Khar for beating up the master on the same day and night. Abul Kha, a fish seller, complained that the school teacher Lalchand abused and beat him because of his previous enmity for land tenure under Eaznama conditions. Now the minorities are protesting not to return our Eage condition papers and are creating pressure through the teachers association by alleging beatings. School teacher Lal Chad Howladar’s mobile number was called several times but his statement was not known as he did not receive it. The investigating officer of both complaints, Dumki police station SI Shubo Barai said that both complaints are under investigation. Legal action will be taken subject to investigation. Officer-in-charge of Dumki police station Tarek Md. Abdul Hannan confirmed the truth of the complaint and said that legal action will be taken against the accused after investigation.
