Green Campus Day observed in IU

Kushtia Islamic University :  Islamic University today observed Green Campus Day, led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah. The program was arranged by Engineer (Civil) Md. Alimuzzaman (Tutul) and his organization ‘Green Architect’.

Marking the day, a colorful procession started from the university’s administrative building at 10 AM. The Vice-Chancellor led the procession, joined by teachers, officials, and others. Later, there was a cleanliness and awareness program. 

The day was observed with the slogan “Will create a dirt-free campus, create a beautiful life, and create a learning environment.”

On the occasion of Green Campus Day, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah said in his speech, “Today, we pledge to keep our campus dirt-free and environmental friendly. Every year on this day we will celebrate ‘Green Campus Day’ on our campus. We assure, the future authorities will celebrate this day every year.

“We should promise that we will never contribute to environmental pollution. We will not throw litter or dust around. We will not used our campus like a dustbin. We will not litter ourselves, and we will not allow others to litter either,” he stated .
