The final match of the Smart Kancherkol Union Super Cup football tournament was held at Shailkupa in Jhenaidah keeping everyone’s favorite football slogan Krirai Shakti Krirai Ball in front. The final match was held at 4:30 pm on Saturday (July 1) at Benipur Bahumukhi Secondary School ground of Kancherkol Union of the upazila. Shailkupar’s ‘Shekhpara Football XI’ (Brothers Union) won the title by defeating ‘Panti Football XI’ of Kumarkhali Upazila of Kushtia district by 1-0. Even before the scheduled start time, the entire field was filled to the brim with thousands of spectators ignoring the rain barrier. Thousands of spectators of different ages are very happy to see such a lively game after a long time. At that time, the visiting Kriramodi spectators praised Advocate Salahuddin Zeyardar Mamun, chairman of Kancherkol Union Parishad, for organizing such a timely tournament.
