On the occasion of Paritra Ashura (10th of Muharram), a Tazia mourning procession was held on the initiative of Imam Gara Sharif, Muridan and Goaland-Daulatdia Khanka Sharif of Anjuman-e-Kaderiya Tariqa of West Medinipur District, India.
On Wednesday 17th July at 10:11 am, the huge mourning procession with Tazia Pak from Daulatdia Khanka Sharif went through Dhaka Khulana Highway to Daulatdia Bangladesh Hatchery and ended at Daulatdia Khanka Sharif.Thousands of Anjuman-e-Kaderiya Tariqa murids and devotees took partin the mourning procession .
It is noted that Imam Hussain Ibn Ali (RA), the second-in-law of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), was martyred by the forces of Yazid on the banks of the Euphrates River in Karbala on 10 Muharram 61 AH. Remembering this grief and memory, Muslims around the world observe Ashura as a day of sacrifice and mourning.
Gwaland Mayor Md. was presentin the mourning procession . Nazrul Islam Mandal, Gwaland Municipality Panel Mayor Nasir Uddin Roni,Ujanchar UP Chairman Md. Golzar Hossain Mridha, Daulatdia UP Chairman. Rahman Mandal, Engineer Md. Rafiqul Islam, Joint General Secretary of Upzilla Awami League Mohammad Ali Molla, Abdul Hai Molla and other persons were present.
President of Daulatdia Anjuman-e-Kaderiya Khanka Sharif Moktar Hossain said, on the occasion of holy Ashura, this mourning procession was held with thousands of pir siblings and devotees of Anjuman-e-Kaderiya Tarika. The event will conclude with prayers and prayers for the welfare of all and distribution of Tobarak.
