Ten gold bars weighing 7 kg and 300 grams have been recovered during the operation of Rajbari district police. At that time Chhattar Sheikh (33) son of Shukur Ali Sheikh of Hazrapara of Pangsha police station, Nahid (19) son of Abdul Khalek Biswas of Bara Ban village of the same police station and Md Zahurul Islam (38) son of deceased Ayen Uddin of Osmanpur of Khoksa police station of Kushtia district. Arrested Jahrul Ward No. 3 UP.
Rajbari Superintendent of Police MM Shakiluzzaman gave a press briefing on this matter on 14th March (Tuesday) at 12:00 PM in the conference room of Rajbari Police Superintendent. Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Salauddin, Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Rezaul Karim, Additional Superintendent of Police (Pansha Circle) Suman Kumar Saha, OC Md. Masudur Rahman of Pangsha Police Station and local print and electronic media journalists were present.
Superintendent of Police MM Shakiluzzaman, Rajbari District is working to control law and order in Pulsih District and arresting accused in various cases. In continuation of that, the Pangsha police station of Rajbari arrested the accused and on the way back, on March 14th (Tuesday) around 5:00 am, the Pangsha police station stopped the speed of a motorcycle from the paved road near the house of Abdul Halim, a man of Chandpur village in the Pangsha police station area. After trying to arrest them and interrogating them, the arrested Chhattar said that he had left three gold bars on the side of the road while running away.
Later, during their search, 7 gold bars wrapped in glass tape were recovered from the shoes of the arrested Nahid. Out of ten gold bars, nine were intact and one bar had 6 gold biscuits. He also said that legal action against the abductees is under process.
