Seasonal Fruit Festival-2024 was held on Tuesday (June 11) under the chairmanship of senior teacher Shanjida Rashid to introduce native fruits and create interest in eating fruits among children and teenagers at Shaheed Cadet School and College, Kazi Azimuddin College Road, Dakshin Chayabithi, Gazipur city.
Md. Shahidul Islam Shahid, Founder Chairman of Shaheed Shiksha Family was present as the chief guest in the presentation of Senior Assistant Teacher Parul Akhter.
In his speech, the chief guest said that we have to eat nutritious food for good health in our daily life and this nutritious food is found in fruits. Many fruits are produced in our country such as mango, jam, grapefruit, kathal, banana, orange, guava, pineapple, litchi, amlaki, these fruits are rich in nutrients.
He also told the students that eating more local fruits will keep the body and mind healthy. He highlighted more aspects about the nutritional value of the fruit. There was no shortage of joy for students and parents in the event.
