Yusuf Ali, Bogra Gabtoli Correspondent: Gabtoli Model Police Station has arrested the absconding accused father Sirajul Islam and son Shariful Islam in the murder case of farmer Sajal Mia in Gabtoli, Bogra and sent them to jail through the court.
According to police sources, farmer Sajal Mia, son of Mohir Uddin of Telihata village in Sukhanpukur union of the upazila, was in a dispute with his neighbor Sirajul Islam over the share of paddy from the Barendra irrigation machine. The opponents stabbed Sajal to death.
In this incident, Sajal’s wife filed a murder case with Gabtoli Police Station, accusing 5 people. The accused were absconding to avoid arrest. Based on a secret information, Gabtoli Police Station arrested the accused from the house of his son-in-law in Bansh Ata village in Syed Ahmed College area on the night of April 13.
Gabtoli Model Police Station OC Serajul Haque Zaman, On Monday (April 14), the court confirmed that the accused father had sent his son to jail.
In addition, a total of 9 people were arrested on various arrest warrants and drug cases and sent to the district jail through the court.
