A BNP public meeting was held in Bijoynagar, Brahmanbaria district.
This public meeting was organized at 4 pm on Saturday, December 14, at the Char Islampur Union Market Ground in the upazila to implement the 31-point state reforms.
BNP Central Committee Economic Affairs Secretary Engineer Khaled Hossain Mahbub Shyamal was the chief guest, moderated by Advocate Imam Hossain and chaired by Char Islampur Union Acting President Mujibur Rahman. Former District BNP President Hafizur Rahman Molla Kochi and former District BNP General Secretary VP Zahirul Haque Khokon were the special guests.
The chief guest said, Sheikh Hasina was the monster of Bangladesh, Moktadir was the monster of Brahmanbaria, and Tanbir Bhuiyan was the monster of Bijoynagar. In the 2024 election, the runaway government took away the people’s voting rights by holding a dummy election with me. He expressed his hope that in the future, the interim government will be elected by the people through a fair and acceptable election and work alongside the people. The speakers mentioned the sacrifice of the former president of Char Islampur Union, the late Miachan, and prayed for the forgiveness of his soul. Abu Taher, office secretary of the Union BNP, delivered the welcome speech at the meeting. District BNP leader Advocate Golam Sarwar Khokon, ABM Mominul Haque, Anisur Rahman Monju, Ali Azam, Monirul Islam, Municipal BNP General Secretary Mizanur Rahman, Sadar Upazila BNP General Secretary Alamgir Hossain, Organizing Secretary Salahuddin Ahmed, District Jubo Dal President Shamim Molla, General Secretary Yasin Mahmud, Senior Vice President Jasim Uddin, Advocate Abdur Rahim Golap, Rashed Kabir Akhand, Joint General Secretary Syed Taimur, Ashiqul Islam Sumon, Abdur Razzak, Shafiq Raihan Shraban, Sadar Upazila Jubo Dal Convener Ziaul Haque, District Labor Party Leader Azizur Rahman, etc. also spoke.
