A discussion meeting was organized jointly by Prothom Alo Bandhushaba Comilla and Dream 71 IT Service at the auditorium of Comilla Ideal College to mark the inauguration of a free month-long ICT skill development course.
The chief guest was Comilla University Treasurer Professor Dr. Mohammad Solaiman, and the course inaugurator was Comilla Education Board College Supervisor and Prothom Alo Comilla Friends Association Advisor Professor Md. Zahirul Islam Patwary.
The discussion meeting was chaired by Mohiuddin Liton, president of the Prothom Alo Comilla Friends Association and founding principal of Comilla Ideal College. The special guests were Md. Kamal Hossain, president of the management committee of Burichang Ershad Degree College, and Abdur Rahman, representative of Prothom Alo Comilla.
The chief guest of the event, Professor Dr. Mohammad Solaiman, said in his speech, “There is no alternative to the proper use and practice of technology in building a beautiful society. The richest person in today’s world is the one who has more information and knows the proper use of technology.”
Professor Md. Zahirul Islam Patwari said in his speech – You, the students of today, must dedicate yourself to the work of building the country through logic and technology.
Comilla Bandhushaba Organizing Secretary Hanif Moshabbi moderated the program, and Prothom Alo Comilla Regional Manager Masud Rana Jewel, Comilla Bandhushaba General Secretary Prashant Karmakar delivered welcome speeches. Prothom Alo Comilla’s photo journalist M Sadek, Comilla Ideal College’s Kushi Education Lecturer Anyanya Banerjee, School of Future Project, ICT Division and Bangladesh High Tech Park Authority’s Master Trainer and Dream 71 IT Service’s Managing Director Omar Faruk, School of Future Project, ICT Division and Bangladesh’s Master Trainer Mohammad Mahtab Hossain, Data Entry and Office Program Trainer Md. Nazrul Islam, Software and Hardware Servicing Trainer Rubel Rana, Digital Marketing Trainer May. Kazi Sohag were also present.
In addition to members of the Prothom Alo Comilla Bandusha, more than a hundred students from various colleges and universities participated in the free month-long ICT skill development course.
