Mashahid Ahmad, Moulvibazar : A discussion meeting and introduction meeting of the organization was held on the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day by the initiative of “Former Chhatra Dal Organization UK” with new and former leaders and activists of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, a local restaurant in East London on November 11. Swalehin Karim Chowdhury, chief advisor of the organization and former elected general secretary of United Kingdom Youth Dal, spoke as the chief guest in the meeting under the chairmanship of the organization’s president Rubel Ahmed and joint secretary Jahangir Hossain and organizing secretary S Rahman Rabbi. In his speech, the chief guest said that Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal is a traditional student organization of Bangladesh. Chhatra Dal played a historic role in the July revolution to overthrow fascism. In this movement, 140 leaders and activists of Chhatra Dal have accepted martyrdom for their beloved motherland. We are optimistic that these young people who participate in the revolution by using the experience of the elders will play an important role in the construction of Bangladesh in the future. He also said that in 1971, a young Major Zia’s declaration of independence in Bangladesh’s liberation struggle was a trumpet call for the lost nation. In the same way, in 1975, when a newly independent nation fell into a deep crisis, the sepoy people chose Ziaur Rahman as a united leader. In just three and a half years of effort, he turned the beloved motherland from a bottomless basket into an economically prosperous one. Like martyred President Ziaur Rahman, his family has repeatedly come forward for the needs of this country. In today’s difficult times, the entire nation is eagerly waiting for the leadership of Deshanayak Tarek Rahman, the acting chairman of Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP, who is the worthy successor of Shaheed Zia and National Leader Begum Khaleda Zia. InshaAllah soon all conspiracies will be cut off and national hero Tariq Rahman will return to Bangladesh as a hero.
