Patuakhali Correspondent : Patuakhali District Reporters Club has been formed to improve the professional skills and rights of media workers in Patuakhali.
The journey of this organization started on October 10th with professional journalists working in Patuakhali district. In a press release on November 30 Saturday afternoon, the organization confirmed this information and officially published the committee list.
An executive committee consisting of 19 members has been formed initially to manage the organization. The district representative of daily Ain Barta from Dhaka in the committee. Matiur Rahman was elected as president and Kazi Mamun, Patuakhali district representative of News 21 Television and Jatiya Dainik Navchetna as general secretary.
Other members of the committee are – Senior Vice-President Firuz Alam of Daily Present Times, Vice-President Vijay TV Galachipa representative Ahsan Uddin Ziku, Joint General Editor Ziaur Rahman of Daily Bangladesh Khabar, Joint General Editor Md Nazrul Islam Daily Prabhat Khabar, Organizing Secretary Md Mohiuddin Ahmed. Bani of Daily Bangladesh, Joint Organizing Editor Md. Atiqul Islam Daily Manavkanth, Joint Organizing Secretary Editor Shree Sapath Rajdhani Television, Md Elias Hossain Finance Editor Daily Asiabani, Office Editor Md Farooq Hossain Daily Rupkar, Cultural and Social Services Md Baijid Mia Daily Alokit Pratidin, Sports Affairs Editor, Md Rachel Hawladar Daily Pratide News, Social Welfare Affairs Editor, Soumitra Suman Dainik Navchetna, Literary and Culture Editor, Bashir Talukdar to Dainik Alor Jagat Information and Technology Selected as the subject editor.
Md Saidul Islam Crime Pratrol, Md Hafizul Islam Shanto Dainik Amar Sangram, Rakibul Islam Kazi TV HD, Md Mahasin Mir Daily I Barta have been appointed as executive members of the committee.
Meanwhile, the press release also said that the process of inclusion as regular members is continuing to strengthen the organization.
Apart from this, for the purpose of improving the scope and mutual relations of the organization, the president and general secretary of the local club in all upazilas of the district have been kept as ex-officio members of the Patuakhali District Reports Club.
