On the occasion of the formation of the tri-annual committee of Homeopathic Professional Association in Amtali, Dr. Dr. A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Shah Alam. Amtali Upazila Homeo Professional Association Committee was formed with Yusub Hossain as treasurer. The newly elected president and secretary said that the names of other members of the committee will be announced in the next meeting.

A book of poetry titled ‘Samay’ by homeo doctor Kavi Al Mamun was unveiled at the Folk Training Center and Food Corner at Amtali on Saturday at 1 pm. Former Headmaster of Amtali MU Boys Secondary School. NSS executive director Shahabuddin Panna, journalist Zakir Hossain, teacher Md. Abdul Mannan and Md. Jalilur Rahman and others. Poet Al Mamun published 13 poetry books. And he has edited 29 anthologies. So far he has been awarded 3 awards for his special contribution to Bengali literature.
