All the students of FOH School, Coaching Center and Computer Training Center, funded by FOH USA, located in Syedpur and Rangpur, participated in the annual sports competition. Mr. Zakir Hossain Sarkar, Education Officer of Syedpur Upazila, was present as the chief guest, Syed Osama Jalal, Country Director of FOH in Bangladesh, Shahin Akhter Shahin was also present; former councilor Syedpur Municipality, former councilor Md. Ershad Hossain Pappu, Md. Sarfuddin Khan and other dignitaries were present. Local dignitaries including the Upazila Education Officer present said: With the tireless work, talent and financial support of all the members of FOH USA, including the Honorable President of FOH USA, Mr. Ahmed Abdul Karim Janda, about 1600 neglected students in Syedpur and Rangpur are being enlightened with the light of education today. We thank the Honorable President Mr. Ahmed Abdul Karim Janda, who, despite being almost 76 years old, always keeps himself busy in humanitarian work and always tries to use all his strength in providing financial support to these neglected students. The event turned into a gathering with the presence of thousands of students who played as much as they liked in the said sports competition. After the games, the chief guest Mr. Zakir Hossain Sarkar and special guest Syed Osama Jalal distributed prizes among the winning students. At that time, all the teachers, officials of FOH School and all the officials of HID Rangpur were present. Finally, the Honorable President of the Annual Sports Competition, Mr. M. A. Bari, declared the end of the sports competition program, wishing everyone happiness, peace, and prosperity in the coming year
