Five-day housing fair at BICC from Monday

Online Desk: A five-day housing fair is starting in the capital from next Monday (December 23). The fair, organized at BICC in Agargaon in the capital, will continue until December 27. Various housing companies, building material and financial investment institutions are participating in the fair.

This information was given by the president of the Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB), an organization of real estate traders, Md. Wahiduzzaman, at a press conference organized at the CIRDAP auditorium in the capital on Thursday (December 19).

REHAB Senior Vice President Liakat Ali Bhuiyan, Vice President Akhter Biswas, Vice President (Finance) Abdur Razzak, Directors Muhsin Mia, Dewan Nasirul, Ayub Ali and Meraj Muktadir, among others, were present at the press conference.

It was informed at the press conference that the REHAB Housing Fair started in Dhaka since 2001. This is the 26th fair of REHAB held in Dhaka. In addition, REHAB has successfully completed 15 fairs in Chittagong. REHAB has been organizing housing fairs abroad since 2004. So far, 12 have been successfully completed in the United States, one each in the United Kingdom, Dubai, Rome, Italy, Canada, Sydney, Qatar, and two ‘REHAB Housing Fairs’ in Dubai.

By organizing these fairs, REHAB is continuing its efforts to create and expand the housing industry market in the country and abroad. On the other hand, expatriate buyers have found their preferred housing in the country. Foreign exchange is also being earned through this fair. Not only that, but it is also playing a unique role in enriching the country’s economy and developing the housing industry and linkage industry.

The REHAB President said that REHAB has organized ‘REHAB Fair 2024’ from December 23 to 27 at BICC, Agargaon, Dhaka. There will be 220 stalls in this fair. We have been able to provide an opportunity for 5 gold sponsors, 18 co-sponsors, 18 building materials and 10 financial investment institutions to participate in this fair.

The chief guest at the inaugural session of the Rehab Fair on Monday will be AF Hasan Arif, Advisor to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism and Land of the interim government. RAJUK Chairman Major General Dr. Siddiqur Rahman will be the special guest.

Buyers and visitors will be able to enter the fair from 10 am to 9 pm. The entry fee for a single entry ticket to enter the fair is 50 taka. And the price of a multiple-entry ticket is 100 taka. A visitor can enter the fair 5 times with a multiple-entry ticket. The entire amount of the entry ticket will be spent on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) work for the needy. There will be attractive prizes in the ticket raffle draw.
