A fire broke out at Gausul Azam Market adjacent to Newmarket police station in Nilakshet of the capital. Two fire service units are working to control the fire.
Ershad Hossain, duty officer of fire service headquarters, said that the fire started after 4:30 pm on Saturday (02 March).
He said that two units of the fire service went to the spot after receiving information about the fire in the shop of Gausul Azam Market in Newmarket.
