Last 5th August 2024 Monday, in Mahipal, Fenir anti-discrimination student movement, auto rickshaw driver Md. A case has been registered in the case of Sabuj Ni-Hat. Feni District Awami League General Secretary and Feni-2 Constituency MP Nizam Uddin Hazari has been made the main accused in the case.
On Tuesday (August 13) at noon Ni-H-Te’s brother Md. Yusuf became the plaintiff and filed the case at Feni Sadar police station, naming 65 people and accusing a total of 450 people.
Ni-h-ta md. Sabuj is the son of Abdul Malek of Dakshin Tumchar village of Ramgati upazila of Lakshipur district.
Among the accused are Nizam Hazari’s PS and District Jubo League co-editor Farid Manik alias PS Manik, who was arrested from the Akhaura immigration check post while fleeing to India.

Ezahr Yusuf mentioned that his brother Sabuj took part in the protest program of the students on August 4. On that day, around 2 pm, the Awami League leaders and activists fired from Trunk Road and moved towards Sabuj Circuit House Road. There, Swapan Miyaji, Jane Alam, Mahbubul Haque Liton and Arnavar were attacked by Sabuj and the other accused beat him to death. Later, when Sabuj’s body was taken to Feni General Hospital, his body was taken to the village house and buried without post-mortem due to the fear of Ha-Mala.
Feni Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Ruhul Amin confirmed the truth of the case.
He said that PS Manik has already been arrested in the case.
