Shariatpur in sewing machines have been distributed among 30 women with the help of Ansar and Village Defense Forces to make them self-reliant. On Sunday (September 22) at two o’clock in the afternoon, District Ansar and VDP Training Center handed over sewing machines to them. In the event, District Ansar and Village Defense Forces said that 30 women from different upazilas were given 75-day sewing and fashion design training to provide employment and self-reliance to the unemployed women of the district. After the training, one sewing machine was distributed among these women. A college student named Habiba Akhter came to take the sewing machine from Nashasan area of ​​Nadia upazila. When talking to Habiba Akhtar, she said that her father Dulal Sardar died five years ago. The family has no contact with his elder brother. Among the 3 sisters, Habib Sejo. Mother Taslima Begum supports the family of six, including grandmother, elder brother’s wife and her daughter, with the little money she earns from working in other people’s houses. Habiba’s studies are about to stop due to lack of money. During this time he came to know about the training of Ansar forces. After 75 days of training, he got a sewing machine and found the message of freedom from financial hardship. At that time Habiba Akhtar said, being a child of a poor family, we have to live in tension in our family. It was very difficult for the mother alone to support the food and education expenses of so many people in the family. In this condition it became difficult to carry out my studies. I got a sewing machine today after completing sewing training from Ansar Bahini. Now besides helping my mother by sewing, I can continue to pay for my own education. I thank the Ansar forces. Jahangir Alam, District Commandant of Shariatpur Ansar and Village Defense Forces said, We Ansar forces work in various areas of social development besides maintaining law and order. We try to make the unemployed girls of the district self-reliant through various trainings. By training from here they will be able to build themselves and help their families. In that continuation, sewing machines have been distributed among 30 women today. These women will now be able to earn money by running machines.
