Expatriate fulfills hobby by marrying two sons at once by helicopter

People’s needs are changing day by day. Once upon a time, weddings were held in rural areas by palanquin, but now, in keeping with the times, they are held by helicopter. There is a proverb that says, “The price of a wedding is 80 taka!” Expatriate Md. Liton Sardar made this a reality. To fulfill the wish of Liton and his wife, he married two sons in a day by helicopter. At that time, hundreds of eager men and women, including children and the elderly, gathered in the area to watch the wedding procession by helicopter.
On Saturday (January 11), at 2 pm, Kuwaiti expatriate Liton Sardar’s eldest son Md. Raihan and middle son Abdullah went to get married by helicopter in Kalaisardar’s Char village of Purba Enayetnagar Union of Kalkini Upazila of Madaripur. One of the brides lives in the same village and the other in Kanurgaon village of the neighboring Bashgari Union.
It is known that Md. Liton Sardar has been an expatriate in Kuwait for 32 years. His eldest son Md. Raihan is studying at Stampfort University and his middle son M.I. Abdullah is studying at Madaripur Government College. On the other hand, the bride of the eldest son, Mahua Akhter Kalkini, daughter of Jasim Hawlader of Char village of Kalaisardar, is studying at Syed Abul Hossain College and the bride of the middle son, Israt Rashid, daughter of Harun Or Rashid Hawlader of Kanurgaon village of Bashgari Union, is studying in the first year of honors at Mim Madaripur Government College.
The two brothers said that they decided to get married in a helicopter to fulfill their parents’ dream. They are also very happy about it. Meanwhile, since this was the first helicopter wedding in this village, people from various surrounding areas flocked to see the helicopter. The locals were happy to see such a helicopter wedding up close.
Liton Sardar, a Kuwaiti expatriate, said that since two of their three sons are close in age, it has been their long-standing hobby to get their sons married in a helicopter when they grow up. They are very happy to finally fulfill their hobby.
And the girl’s family is also very proud that the groom’s family came to get the girl married in a helicopter. They are also very happy that the groom’s family has come to pick up the girl in a helicopter.
