The Department of Agricultural Extension, Poba, organized an exchange of views with the farmers’ group producing vegetables and seed potatoes in the village of Kumrapukur.
Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Mohammad Emdad Ullah Mian, was present as the chief guest at the exchange of views organized in Kumrapukur village of Poba on Tuesday (December 31) afternoon.
At the same time, Director General of the Department of Agricultural Extension, Khamarbari, Krishibid Md. Chaiful Islam presided over the meeting, and special guests included Additional Secretary of the Extension Division of the Ministry of Agriculture Md. Zakir Hossain, Director of the Administration and Finance Wing of the Farm, Dr. Md. Sahinul Islam, Joint Secretary of the Extension Division of the Ministry of Agriculture Dipankar Biswas, Additional Director of the Administration and Finance Wing of the Farm, Abu Md. Enayet Ullah, Additional Director of the Rajshahi Region of the Department of Agricultural Extension Md. Mahmudul Faruk, Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension, Rajshahi, Mocha Umme Salma, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Sohrab Hossain, Member Secretary of the BSC Agriculture Cadre Association, Agriculturist Md. Rezaul Islam Mukul.
Paba Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Farzana Tasnim, Additional Agriculture Officer Tanmoy Kumar Sarkar, Agricultural Extension Officer Raihan Uddin, and Deputy Assistant Officers of all blocks of the Upazila were also present.
