An exchange meeting was held with the local journalists along with the newly appointed Superintendent of Police Md Saifuzzaman in Madaripur.
This exchange meeting was held in the conference room of the District Police Superintendent on Wednesday (September 11) at noon.
In the meeting under the direction of Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Moniruzzaman Fakir, local journalists expressed various opinions and suggestions including drugs, terrorism, juvenile gangs, students hanging out during school hours, quick arrest of accused in ongoing cases.
Among the journalists, Subal Biswas, Madaripur correspondent of Daily Janakantha newspaper, SM Arafat Hasan, morning correspondent, Belal Rizvi, Bangladesh daily correspondent, Mehedi Hasan Sohag, correspondent of country transformation, Sagar Hossain Tamim, correspondent of Channel 24, Mm Harunur Rashid, correspondent of Anand TV spoke. , Manzoor Hossain, representative of Jayzadeen, Gauch ur Rahman, representative of Dinkal, Sabbir Hossain Aziz, journalist of Asian Age, Mahibul Ahsan Limon, representative of Manabzamin and Sonali Barta and others.
Newcomer Madaripur District Police Superintendent Md Saifuzzaman said in the meeting, “We will do whatever we have done in the past to eliminate sabotage, terrorism, drug extremism and militancy in the performance of our national duties. Above all, we will prove that the safety of public life and property, the police is the friend of the people, the servant of the people. Which every citizen of this district must feel. You can get all kinds of assistance by coming directly to our office instead of calling. We will support them. Our doors will always be open to everyone. And that is our promise.
He also said that apart from maintaining law and order, he sought the cooperation of all journalists present in the development of the district and promised to implement all opinions and suggestions.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Mohammad Kamrul Hasan, Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) Bhaskar Saha and journalists from local print and electronic media were also present.
