Ambassador (retd) Supradeep Chakma, Advisor on Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, said that religion is for the well-being and welfare of people. Everyone must work for the good of the country.
Ambassador (Retd.) Supradeep Chakma, Advisor on Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, made this statement while addressing a Bani Archana ceremony on the occasion of Saraswati Puja at the Officers Club premises on Bailey Road in the capital on Monday, 3 February .
Advisor Supradeep Chakma further said, everyone has the right to freely practice their religion. This interim government is encouraging people of all religions to work freely. The country is ours, we all want the development of this country. Everyone from religion, caste, and tribe must extend their hands of cooperation in the development work of the government. He said, the spirit of the July Revolution must be kept alive among everyone. Only then is change in this country possible.
The Mangalalok memorial was unveiled at the event. Later, the Mangalpradip was lit and checks were handed over to the family members of the martyrs of the July Revolution.
