Special General Meeting held at Engineer Institution Comilla Centre. The meeting was held under the direction of Engineer Nurul Alam in the presence of more than a hundred engineers working in Comilla on Tuesday evening, October 29.
Engineer Muhammad Abdur Razzak and Honorary Secretary Engineer Muhammad Saidur Rahman have been elected as the new committee chairman. .
The speakers in the general meeting said, “I have not been able to say anything in the last 15 years. When you go to vote during the election, you are told that your vote is done. You go home.” He urged the new committee to take initiative to do something for the families of those who were martyred.
Engineer Muhammad Tofazzal Hossain Pramanik Chief Engineer PDP, Engineer Muhammad Osman Gani PWD Supervisor, Engineer Modachher Hossain, Engineer Ahmed Moshiur Alam, Engineer Md Saidur Rahman, Engineer Nuruzzaman, Engineer Jamal Uddin, Engineer Uzaif Ahmed, Engineer described the bad governance of the last 15 years. Shakeel Mohammad Nahid, Engineer Ashraf Jamil, Engineer Moshiur Alam, Engineer Sadekur Rahman, Engineer Akbar, Engineer Mohammad Abdul Razzak was unanimously elected as Chairman, Engineer Muhammad Shafiul Alam was elected as Vice Chairman (1), Engineer Muhammad Ashraf was elected as Vice Chairman (2) Jamil, Engineer Md. Saidur Rahman was unanimously elected as the secretary, and Engineer Shakil Md. Nahid was elected as the central member.
