At Rajapur, Jhalkathi, workshops were held to encourage entrepreneurs and checks were distributed. National Women’s Organization, Rajapur, Jhalkathi organized the women entrepreneurs development project at the grass root level of economic empowerment.
Rajapur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Farhana Yasmin attended the upazila auditorium at 10 o’clock today and spoke as the chief guest to encourage women.
Trade trainer, beautification mosa Shahanara Khatun was present as a special guest and gave motivational speech to women, Jhalkathi District Women Awami President and Jhalkathi Sadar Upazila Parishad Women Vice Chairman Israt Jahan Sonali, Rajapur Upazila Awami League Vice President and Rajapur Upazila Parishad Women Vice Chairman Afroza Akter Laiju, brave freedom fighter Ramarani Das. At that time, training officer Mosa Samira Akhtar gave a speech from among the trainers and trainees.
The guests were welcomed with flowers at the beginning of the program under the chairmanship of Fazilatun Nesha, chairman of the Jhalakathi district office of the National Women’s Organization. During the event, trainees of five trades presented their products for exhibition. At the end of the ceremony, the guests cut the cake and distributed checks to the trainees on the occasion of the foundation anniversary of National Women’s Organization.
At the time, the speakers praised the Prime Minister and said that women today are economically, socially and family independent. Which is possible for the Prime Minister of Bangladesh. They also say women are not backward today. They are also contributing in every field today along with men. Today, women have made their own position by removing the misconceptions about women in the society.
